Standard First Aid with CPR-C (SFA-C) is a comprehensive Intermediate level first aid course that will enable you to become capable and competent at first aid. Designed to equip Vancouverites with vital life-saving skills, this training program will teach you to effectively handle emergencies at work or at home.
At Fundamental First Aid Ltd. we offer the blended version of SFA, which combines 8 hours of online training at your own pace, followed by 8 hours of scheduled in class training.
This course covers not only the essential first aid techniques but also the legal requirements and guidelines for workplace safety. Therefore, Standard First Aid with CPR-C is recognized by WorkSafeBC as equivalent to OFA Level 1, and allows you to work as an OFA Level 1 first aid attendant. This course also meets the first aid requirements for Massage Therapists as mandated by the CMTBC’s bylaws.
